In a recent interview on DJ Green Lantern's XM/Serius radio program, "Invasion Radio", Jay Electronica got real on the delayed release of his latest (highly-highly-anticipated) project Act II: The Turn (Patents of Nobility).

Originally, the EP was slotted for an X-Mas Day release, which was then moved back to a New Years Day release. If you read the blog on the regular, you might remember me predicting the delay last month (see HERE).

According to Jay Elect though, the continual push-back of release dates isn't his fault. Nas has been signed on to the project for some time now; however, he allegedly sent in his verses for the project way later than scheduled. Direct from Jay's mouth:
"You wanna know the real hold-up? We had it ready to go on New Years, but...we didn't have the Nas verses yet."
Ouch. Thankfully, he followed up by adding "but we got 'em, we got 'em."

Now that all the verses are in, look for Jay Electronica's Act II: The Turn (Patents of Nobility) very soon.

Check out the full interview over on NahRight.

I don't know about anybody else, but despite all the delays, I'm still excited.
