Jay Electronica is all over the news and blogs today.

This is probably one of the most professional interviews I've seen of the man thus far. Usually its just him and some random dude with a mic walking around outside with way too much outside noise. That type of thing is cool, but it's nice to see him sit down and actually be able to discuss his music from time to time.

It's over an hour long and full of insights on the man and his music.

Props to NahRight...

From when Jay was in LDN last Thursday. As they so eloquently put it:

With more anticipation around his Act II track than the rest of hip hop’s class of ‘10 combined, and another project with fellow supa emcees Mos Def and Curren$y in the making, the future couldn’t look brighter for Jay.

Props to Red Bull Music Academy.

He says that there is an Exhibit B on a hard drive somewhere. And that it’s not the Exhibit A (Remix) that Mos Def was featured on (and was defending.)

He has to be one of the most respectful and appreciative MCs out there right now, even though he exhibits a bit of "braggadocio" as he likes to put it. He respects his fans and those interested in his music.

It's refreshing.
